Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your new wellies. And we do everything that we can to provide you with enough information to make an informed decision about your purchase.

So, if you aren’t completely happy with your new wellies, or you have changed your mind, we are happy to exchange your boots for a different size or refund. Please contact us on returns@thewidewellycompany.co.uk, within 14 days of receiving your order, stating your order number in the subject box and let us know if you’d like to return or exchange your wellies.

As a small, family-run business we cannot absorb this return cost though, so you will need to cover the cost of returning your wellies to us. Please obtain ‘proof of postage’ when returning items as we cannot be held responsible for any items that fail to reach us or are delayed, and we recommend you keep your proof of posting safe, just in case. A return address label is included with every order.

Wellies must be returned in their original condition and please remember to enclose your invoice or packing list so that we can identify your parcel. We will credit any refunds via your original payment method within 5 working days after we have received the items. If you wish to exchange your wellies, we will dispatch these within 1 working day of receiving the original order.

Wellies must be returned in a saleable condition. If they have been worn or damaged, we are unable to provide a refund.

Faulty Items

12-month Guarantee

All our wellies have been thoughtfully designed and built to withstand the rigour of daily life. Our stringent quality checks and hand-built production process allows us to confidently offer a 12-month guarantee with each pair.

If you look after your new wellies in line with our care advice and guidance, they should stand up to the demands of daily life. However, we do appreciate that occasionally some faults can escape our checks and develop over time.  If you believe that there is a problem with your wellies, our guarantee can be activated by e-mailing pictures to us at hello@thewidewellycompany.co.uk. Our guarantee policy is as follows:

Defect Occurs Guarantee
1 – 180 days Full refund or replacement
181 – 365/6 days Replacement only

Please DO NOT return anything to us without obtaining authorisation first. Any item returned without authorisation or without any ID, will not be refunded.
