We want your wellies to last so have a few tips to help you care for them keep them looking their best.

  • Boots should not be removed with a boot remover or the toe of one foot against the heel of the other. This will apply unnecessary stress on the joint between the body and sole of the boot and causing them to detach from each other.  Instead, cup your hand around the heel of the boot and pull gently.
  • The boots are not designed to be used as heavy duty work boots. The more you wear them, the faster they will wear out.
  • Rinse off any excess mud or dirt.
  • Remove any boot socks or liners.
  • Let your wellies dry before you store them.
  • Store wellies out of direct sunlight and away from other heat sources.

We design our wide calf wellies in the UK, so they are exclusive to us. They are made to our own specification, and we oversee production to ensure that Quality Control tests are adhered to.

Handcrafted in small batches, we use a higher content rubber than the majority of other wellies; the adjustable gusset is held in place with our unique fabric strap and cam buckle combination, ensuring that once you have adjusted your wellies, they’ll stay in place as you walk!

All our boots are sold with a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects.  We are unable to offer replacements or refunds for general wear and tear.

This company was recommended to me while visiting family in the UK who were already avid Wide Welly Co fans! When I saw the paw print wellies I just had to have them (dogaholic)! Verity bent over backwards to accommodate my order and international shipping to Western Australia (amazing customer service)!!! Shipping took a little longer due to the usual festive season backlogs but my parcel arrived safe and sound. I am so in love with these awesome wellies and can't wait for the Aussie Winter to live in them! They are the most comfortable boots I've ever had and I just love, love, love finally having room to tuck my jeans inside my wellies! Yay!!! I'm loving the wellie socks for extra comfort and the fabulous travel cup that matches my wellies...never felt so coordinated and comfortable! Can't recommend highly enough! Thanks heaps Verity X

I cannot fault The Wide Wellie company! From the products to the service everything 5 stars. I spent my entire life, I’m now over 60, never being able to get boots of any kind to fit over my 47cm calves. The other problem is I don’t have wide feet. These wellies are perfect, I even have room to tuck in my jeans. I’ve been wearing them now for about 6 years! Not the same pair! I’ve had a few. I wear them most days as I live on Dartmoor, there’s not many days a year that the ground is dry under foot. This week I discovered they are doing the most amazing socks made of bamboo, lots of stretch, again they fit over my jeans and are lovely and soft. Buy the wellies and socks together, you won’t regret it.
