These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you and The Wide Welly Company (“we”, “us”, “our”), governing your use of our website, www.thewidwellycompany.co.uk (the “Site”), and your purchase of products from us.
By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

You agree to use our Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend our Site (or any part of it) without notice and will not be liable if the Site is unavailable at any time.
3. Products and Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photos, and pricing are accurate.
However, colours may vary depending on your screen, and slight variations in finish may occur due to the handmade nature of our boots.
Handmade Products
Every pair of Wide Welly Company boots is made by hand — not by machine. This means that from time to time, minor marks or surface variations may appear. These small imperfections are a natural result of the production process and do not affect the performance or durability of the boot.
Because we believe in sustainability, we do not replace or discard wellies for minor aesthetic differences. Perfection costs the planet — and you — much more.
All products are subject to availability. If an item you order becomes unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or refund.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT (where applicable).
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We accept payment through the methods shown at checkout.
Prices may change without notice, but you will always be charged the price displayed at the time you place your order.
5. Shipping
We dispatch orders every weekday and on Saturdays.
Orders placed before 2pm (Monday–Friday) and 11am (Saturday) are usually shipped the same day.

6. Returns and Exchanges
You can return or exchange your wellies using our returns portal.
We offer one free exchange per order and charge £3.99 for returns.

7. The Wide Welly Company Guarantee
All our boots are sold with a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing defects.
We are unable to offer replacements or refunds for general wear and tear.
We continue to develop our boots based on your feedback, but please note that wellies are not indestructible nor designed for daily long-distance walking or heavy-duty work use. The more often you wear your wellies, the faster they will naturally wear out. Factors such as fit, frequency of wear, type of activity, and storage all affect the lifespan.

If you believe your wellies have a manufacturing issue, please email verity@thewidewellycompany.co.uk with a photo of the problem and your order number. We’ll review the issue and let you know the next steps — there’s no need to return the wellies unless we ask you to do so.
If a replacement is offered, the original purchase date remains the start of the 12-month guarantee period. The guarantee does not reset with a replacement pair.
Your experience matters to us, and we continually strive to develop the best wide-calf wellies we can.
8. Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you believe your item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us before returning it.
We’ll advise next steps and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
9. Ownership and Risk
Once delivered, the products are your responsibility.
Ownership passes to you only once we have received full payment.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site—including text, logos, images, and designs—is owned by or licensed to The Wide Welly Company.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any material without our prior written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will always be available on our Site.
Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
